Hated and worst aren't synonymous methinks. If you hate the character they are at least doing something, unlike Travis.

I did once turn off an episode, "Memorial" I think it was, over an annoying Neelix scene that I was just not in the mood to have to sit through. Don't think I've done that for any other character before. Granted "Memorial" is a super boring season 6 episode that probably deserved to get turned off, but still.
I hate Memorial because Janeway is wrong.
I hate Memorial because Remember was better, but Memorial was better than Nemesis.

I watched Remember today! Good episode. Oh, gah, yes I liked Memorial better than Nemesis. What was that word they used that irritated me, "Glimpsed"? Yes.

But there's some flimsy origin somewhere saying that his tribe didn't leave earth till the 22nd century, squarely qualifying that his Rubber Tree People had nothing to do with the ancient tribes moved by the Preservers from Earth in the 15th century, met by Kirk and then Picard...

TOS: Kirk (arrogant redneck prick and epitome of the swinging single pod people of TOS. Also all the fist fights he gets into, seriously, it's the future can we have a little bit of civilization?)
TNG: Wesley (plucky young geniuses are difficult to write as likable characters, and they did not succeed)
DS9: Jake by pure virtue of not being as interesting as the other characters. The DS9 characters were rather excellent.
VOY: Harry Kim (for being a fucking useless, pointless waste of space and not being fired instead of Kes, who was awesome)
Special mentions to: Chekotay (boring and a chaotic amalgam of every Native American nation there is as misunderstood by white writers who didn't bother to do much research) and the Doctor (for being an arrogant, selfish, egotistical prick and a creeper towards Kes and Seven)
ENT: Archer for not being a very good captain at all and having a whiny voice.
