Worst looking ship?

Surely nothing looks worse than the Yeager class?

^Oberth class.

The Yeager didn't look so bad onscreen, from a distance and partially obscured.

I personally find the Sovereign the least aesthetically pleasing. It's not such an odd shape as the Yeager though.

I honestly don't think that any of those kitbashes, presumably required by budget, are as bad as the Enterprise-E ('E' for 'Eyesore'). That thing is so anti-Trek it hurts.

Enterprise-E. Damn thing looks so alien, it should be inhabited by insects. The fact that it is named Enterprise really nails it.

Photon torpedoes, full spread.

The Yeager class just screams kitbash. The Saucer, midsection, and Nacelles don't seem to really work together at all.

I for one like the Sovreigns's shape. It looks a little more sleek & agressive, like someone stretched out a UFP ship. The Galaxy class looks cumbersome and slow in comparison.

Steamrunner.
The Sovereign class is awesome, much better than the Galaxy class with it's oversized saucer.

Nearly all of the cheap kitbashes (used for the battle of Wolf 359 or during DS9's Dominion War) look abysmal. The Yeager class, Challenger class, Curry class, New Orleans class, Niagara class, etc. are definitely the worst of the Starfleet ship designs.

Agreed. Kitbashes, generally, just don't work.

FASA had some pretty awful stuff, too:

Constellation class, a la the Stargazer.

Hideous kitbash.
It's a kitbash for sure, but it does look reasonable considering. As in believable as a Trek ship (which I've never found the background ship classes from First Contact to be, for example) and does look as outdated and falling apart as described. Besides, personally, I like the 'flying saucer' aspect of it.
