Worst lines of dialogue in Trek?

In addition to being a really really really bad episode of Trek, it also had some real cringy dialogue...

PARIS: "I guess this whole experience has left me feeling a little overwhelmed. Flying at warp ten, evolving into a new life form, mating, having alien offspring."
JANEWAY: "You've broken more than one record, that's for sure."
PARIS: "Breaking the threshold. It was incredible. But somehow it doesn't mean as much as I thought it would."
JANEWAY: "Oh?"
PARIS: "I guess I went into this looking for a quick fix. I thought making history would change things. Not just my service record, my reputation."
JANEWAY: "If I'm not mistaken, you've changed quite a few minds on this ship. You've earned a lot of people's respect and admiration."
PARIS: "Yeah. But I'm starting to realise that it's not other people's opinions I should be worried about. It's mine."

He might've turned into a slug, kidnapped his captain, and had baby salamanders with her, but dang if he didn't learn a Positive Lesson from the experience!

Absolutely.

Good example: "FALSE PROFITS". Despite it being a story that was ripe to be told simply because of the events of TNG's "The Price", it was a TERRIBLE episode. There are NO redeeming qualities about this one.

Or how about "BLOOD FEVER"? "FAVORITE SON"? "SPIRIT FOLK"? "FURY"? "TWISTED"? (Though the biggest problem here is execution. The idea was interesting.)

All of the above are, I feel, worse than "THRESHOLD". (I will concede "TWISTED" at least has some good character beats. The others don't even have THAT going for them.)

Kazon-Ogla?! Who are the Kazon-Ogla?!

I don’t know why but Janeway’s delivery was unintentionally amusing to me.

Agreed, some of those were pretty painful. But, "Spirit Folk" had the cow scene, and the first half of "Favorite Son" was an intriguing premise. And, none of the other episodes involved salamander babies. So I still maintain, "Threshold" is the nadir.

I make the argument that "THRESHOLD" is not as bad as people say because of the character beats for Tom. There are honestly FAR worse episodes in the franchise, definitely of VOYAGER.

Character wise maybe, science wise it's definitely one of the most painful (which is saying a lot with Voyager).

I can’t remember the exact line but that conversation between Kim and Paris about how Paris said he never finishes anything. Why would he say that? Cheesier than a block of Stilton.

That's the one..

"This president is not above the law" - he says it in such a God Bless America kind of way.
