Part One is complete! The top five vote getters are listed below. You may vote for ONE. The episode with the most votes will be named the worst for Season One and be entered in the series wide showdown at a later date!

"Ex Post Facto" - Here we are in the unexplored and exotic Delta Quadrant, and one of the first things they show us is a little dog I just saw walking across the street. Alright, I have bigger beefs with this episode, but they should have at least given that dog pointed ears or a wrinkled nose.

Come on guys "Heroes and Demons" was some good ol' danes-with-beards fun.

Cathexis for me. The whole dual-possession thing was dull, although I did kind of like the bits with the medicine wheel.

I actually kind of like Heroes and Demons and Ex Post Facto. Time and Again is fairly entertaining (although it loses points for being the second episode in a row where effect precedes cause). Emanations is certainly not a classic, but it's still a lot better than Cathexis, IMO.

Practically all Tom Paris episodes are bad. So the tie breaker was Cathexis.

But why does anyone think Heroes and Demons or Emanations could be "worst?"

I must be the only one to consider Cathexis an enjoyable episode. I found the twists, move/countermoves, use of Kes, the way Brannon incorporated the medicine wheel in saving the day etc to be satisfying. I also liked visiting Janeway's gothic novel in the teaser.

Well I liked it too, it's one of my favourites actually.

"Heroes and demons" gets my vote, that episode was so boring.

There weren't really outstandingly bad episodes in the first season, though I think Time and Again is the worst of that list.

The episode where the Doctor meets that blond woman out od shakespeare, and the episode where the crew gets trapped in that "scarry" clown's dreams.

I don't remember either title.
