The one positive aspect to "Children"?

The red railing on the bridge looked stunning.

And The Children Shall Lead also features one of the last appearances of Mr. Leslie, so it's got that going for it.

And the little blond girl? The voice of Lucy in a couple of the earliest Charlie Brown TV specials.

Spock's Brain :rommie:

with these two tied for a close second :

And the Children Shall Lead:wtf:
The Way to Eden:guffaw:

Interesting. I always loved "Let that Be Your Last Battlefield".

Me too. I'm a smart guy, not given to simplistic political sentiments, and the revelation that the two of them were opposite in their skin coloring always seemed brilliant. It really did characterize the insanity of prejudice. It was supposed to be ridiculous, that was the point.

And the Children...
Turnabout Intruder
Way To Eden

Even Melvin Belli looked bored, and that's saying something.

So, Belli wasn't a guy who bored easily? He was a lawyer...

Not too long ago, I decided that one-third of season three was great, mostly toward the beginning. Lately, I look at all the titles, and despite the presence of Freddy Frieberger, destroyer of worlds (or SF TV shows anyway), most of these episodes strike me as partial successes. In fact, only the three I chose plus Savage Curtain (why no votes for that? Big Lincoln fans?) seem bad. Almost all have major problems, but greatness too.

"Plato's Stepchildren" really should be considered one of unequivocal successes. Michael Dunn was great.
