"Factor."

"Children" sucks major sphincter juice and "Omega" makes precious little sense, but few stories in the entire sweeping history of the franchise are as confusing, poorly explained and woodenly acted as the Lazarus malarkey. Ugh. I'd let the universe be destroyed by antimatter collisions if it meant this episode's master copy got shot to the center of a black hole.

And the Children Shall Lead

I believe someone opined that this episode was annoying. Amen to that!

Omega had some interesting moments despite the all-too-obvoious ending which did not satisfy. And while Factor was all over the place the ending, with the 2 Lazari duking it out forever, was unsettling enough to be remembered.

Children was just a waste of 35mm film.

Let's face it. NONE of these will ever end up on anyone's Best-Of list. Unless they're freebasing Clorox or got half their brain shout out in 'Nam.

"Hail, Hail...fire and snow...tell the writers...their stuff blows.

Far away...for to see...script re-writing...come to me!"

The Alternative Factor: all that trans-dimensional overly dramatic musically annoying fighting got on my nerves.
But **Hail hail fire and snow** is right on the next nerve in line.

And the Children Shall Lead

The Omega Glory would be my next choice. Alternative isnt actuall that bad?

It's isn't good, either.

Actually...it blows so hard the Mirror Universe can hear it.

The Alternative Factor is a good and underrated episode, so it passes. The Omega Glory is certainly terrible, but it's not And the Children Shall Lead.

Melvin Belli, oddly enough, was more well-known for this one TOS turkey than he ever was for the murder cases he got involved in...even the Jack Ruby one.

Voting has closed and the winner is And The Children Shall Lead. It will have the distinction of representing TOS in the series wide poll I'll conduct when a winner has been chosen from the other series. Thanks to everyone who voted.

I didn't get to vote, but And The Children Shall Lead would have been a strong contender for the "worst" vote from me.

FYI: the overall poll with And The Children Shall Lead as TOS's representative and The Magicks of Megas-Tu as TAS's representative is now up in General Trek, for those of you don't regularly visit that forum but might like to participate.
