ANiS for me too, though The Seventh and Bounty were close runners up as far as character assassination went.

"The Seventh" was just completely and utterly boring and forgettable on just about every level. A dull, thudding non-event. That was it's biggest crime.

No, it's greatest crime was that it made T'Pol into a basket case, and it weakened her character to the point that Archer literally had to hold her hand while she phasered a criminal on stun.

I liked all these eps so I voted for Bounty because

- the T'Pol plot part of it was stupid and a waste of time (I did like the Archer stuff)
- as it has the least amount of votes so far (it makes the poll look a little more even)

T'Pol didn't fare well in "The Seventh," I'll grant you that. She kind of fell apart with those visions and nightmares(?) and shouldn't have been so damn bothered by the failure of her old mission to get all the undercover agents. You'd think with her logical training and disciplines she could handle a relatively minor failure like that.

Yes, she should have. And as far as the episode goes, what we saw was actually a repeat of the last time she cracked under pressure, so we saw that she has an established history of doing so. Not exactly officer material. But logic didn't have much to do with that episode, because T'Pol was assigned to finish a case from her past even though it had caused her mental instability the last time she was assigned to it. Logically, she should have never been assigned to a high stress environment again, let alone to the same case. Not to mention the lack of action on Archer or Starfleet's part when she basically cracked again.
