I'm curious to see if I'm the only one who will vote for Similtude--hands down the most immoral and idiotic show in Trek history on so many levels in my opinion. But I know that it's a favorite with a lot of people. It's funny, but I hate one per season in the last 3 (ANIS, Sim, TATV), but there's nothing that I'll never watch again in season 1. Go figure.

Extinction
Exile
Doctor's Orders (although I like Phlox, the episode was just a rehash of VOY "One" and therefore quite pointless)

The most immoral? What about the episode of VOY it was based on, Tuvix? What about that episode of ENT where Archer and Phlox condemned an entire advanced civilization to extinction after only a few days of having met them and seeing their situation?

"Extinction" was cheesy and just an excuse to rip off a much better TNG story with some newfangled primate makeup, but "Exile" just bored the living crap out of me on every level. To this day it remains my least-favorite of all the Xindi season episodes. Boring. An uninteresting alien antagonist. The whole remote telepathy thing reminded me of how lame the whole Being-Communicating-with-Sybok-from the Center of the Galaxy shtick was in the fifth TREK movie. Even Hoshi sucked in this one, a real shame because she got few opportunities to shine.

The first time that episode aired, I truly enjoyed it--admitted, because "Harbinger" before it left such a sour taste in my mouth.

But after a second viewing, I had to ask: if that smoke screen nebula whatchamacallit was only spreading out and not up, why the hell didn't they just fly *over* it, and save the energy of putting everyone to sleep? :wtf: I mean, it's outer fuckin' space, for God's sake!

Not that I don't appreciate seeing John B.'s acting abilities pastede on yey and all, but TMFIC could have done better than this.

I'm surprised how many folks didn't like the "RAJIIN" episode... tough crowd. ;)
I enjoyed it. I liked seeing more of the Xindi council in the teaser, Rajiin was an interesting character, the Reptilians and Archer have their first confrontation, the battle sequences were well executed, the water world market was well-conceived, the arc took on another sense of urgency with the revelation of the second weapon of mass destruction only making things bleaker and more daunting for Archer, the Trip/T'Pol scenes were nice, continuity was observed as the crew continued efforts to insulate the ship from anomalies by procuring and synthesizing trellium-d, and the episode ended on a nicely ominous note.

It's the TREK BBS.

"Harbinger" is one of my three worst. Easily. The whole Hayes-Reed fight...the crap with T'Pol and Trip. Ick. Pack this turd along with "Exile" and "Extinction" into a time capsule and bury them all in the center of the earth. Wrapped in an atomic pile.
