"TATV..." Almost total suckfest that violates the Prime Directive of logic and so-called "Valentines." Fuck it. Fuck it hard with a 1701-D holodeck dildo strapped to Mr. Mot's chin.

That might be the best description of the episode I've ever read :D

Daedalus - not that bad an episode. I'm surprised by the hate it's getting compared to a true pile of nonsense like "Storm Front I and II"

Thanks!:)

I'd call it inspired...but as we all know by now, nothing associated with that finale falls into any semblance of "inspiration."

Daedalus - I actually fell asleep during this episode. A first for me during the modern run of Star Trek.
Bound - Stupid and Pointless.
These Are the Voyages... - Valentine for the fans? My giant ass!

Well I normally would have voted for TATV, but it's certainly going to win this poll by a country mile, so I decided it didn't really need my help along and let me free up a vote to give to something else.

So my picks are:

Terra Prime: I'm probably the only one going to vote for this but IMO killing babies just isn't entertaining. And since the baby came out of nowhere it came across as just emotionally manipulative.

And what kind of stupid ass plan was this anyway? Lets take the DNA from a really hot Vulcan chick and a really hot human male and make the cutest little pixie baby we can possibly make - yeah that'll stir up loads of xenophobia  What they should have gone for was the ugliest human they could find, combined with the ugliest member of the ugliest alien race they'd met so far and then made ugly babies. Would have made loads more sense.

Bound: For completely wasting the opportunity to have the girl's of Enterprise stand up, kick ass and defend the ship and instead go for giving Trip superpowers via a bond. As much as I love Trip screentime this should have been an episode for Hoshi & T'Pol to work together to win the ship back.

Kir'shara: While it was a pretty good episode in and of itself it gets a vote for completely sidelining T'Pol in what was a personal journey for her. She didn't even get to be there when the Kir'shara was revealed. :vulcan:

"Bound" was lazy and lame. Wow. Three Orion slave girls with nice tits use their pheromones to take over the ship. It's "Mudd's Women" with more skin...and green at that. End of story.

It wasn't bad. But it wasn't good, either.

I'm seriously the only vote for "Daedalus"? I felt it was one of the worst Trek episodes of all time and singlehandedly derailed any progress at redemption ENT may have been making in season 4. I'm going to rewatch "Storm Front", because I refuse to believe that anything other than "Threshold" or "Code of Honor" could be as bad as "Daedalus".

I voted for Daedalus as well but I also picked Home and These are the Voyages as my other two.

Daedalus and Home were far too predictable and These are the Voyages was just unsatisfying.

Daedalus: Felt like a season 1 or 2 snooze fest

Demons and Terra Prime: Doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Why create a Vulcan-human hybrid baby to SHOW it's wrong? That's like creating a succesful human clone to show cloning is wrong. SEE, IT'S POSSIBLE! AND IT'S BAD. BY THE WAY, I'M A XENOPHOBE WHO TAKES ALIEN GENE THERAPY MAKING ME A HYPOCRITE. DO I GET TO FIGHT IT OUT WITH ARCHER MANO A MANO? YOU BET! Stay tune for more Trip-T'Pol shipper moments! Watch as they send two well-publicized, decorated heroes who saved Earth months ago undercover" as miners! Yeah, that makes sense!

Anyway, take the issue of xenophobia and turn it into some Bond villain threatening to wipe out San Francisco...DS9's Homefront this ain't.

Stormfront I enjoyed more on rewatching. Demons/Terra Prime, less.

TATV sucks, but people consider Demons/Terra Prime the real ending and those aren't that much better.

BOUND was bad, too, for making the Orions P.C. shits and giggles. Oh, the women are in control. Like that wouldn't be well known, say...immediately after this encounter.

Storm Front I and II. It suffers because it's tainted with the touch of Bermaga in the form of alien Nazis, and because we wanted to see a real Enterprise homecoming after the Xindi Saga and got the Temporal Cold War instead. That said, I'll give them credit for ending the Temporal Cold War, booting Daniels and wrapping up the alien Nazi mess in a neat little package.

And TATV. My problem with it is that it Riker's tone throughout the episode does not match the seriousness of the events from "The Pegasus." As a series finale for ENT, it fails to take into account everything that the characters have been through during their ten-year mission. No one's moved up in rank, T'pol is still tip-toeing around Trip, and Hoshi is going back to teaching at the university?

"TATV" is to four-star science fiction what Mariah Carey is to dignified appearances on MTV afternoon shows.
