Worse DS9 Episodes, if not "profit and lace" then wot?

Valient was awful. Why did they have to embarass the Defiant like that (I know it was a different ship but still). That was just a joke.

You know, I honestly think that not a single episode of DS9 was really bad. Yes, some weren't all that good, but I still like every single one to a degree.

Really? May I ask why.

I think my only problem with that episode is that it introduced an aspect of dominion culture that didn't have any impact in the overall war. I mean you have the gammas and alpha Jem'Hadar's fighting amongst each other, that could be a key advantage to the Federation.

I hate Melora but I'll give it to them. They were going to make her a regular character one of the main cast. I'm so glad they didnt so I'll give them one ep to get the idea of her out of their heads

I could list about 6 or so specific duds from every single season of DS9.

Off the top of my head, afer Profit and Lace most memorably abysmal are Melora, Time's Orphan, Resurrection, Chrysalis, and each and every episode of DS9 featuring Lwaxana Troi in it.

Strongly disagree with the Rivals hating. Rivals is an awesome episode because Quark is brilliant and hilarious in it. Although I do concede the "changing the laws of probability" crap was very weak. But who cares, Quark elevates that episode to greatness, and his guest star rival was great too.

Strong disagree with the Valiant hating too. They were supposed to be annoying little twerps. That's why they got masscared in the end. :D

As I've said b/4, I LMAO with every Polaron Torpedo that hit the Valiant  :guffaw:

My least favorite is probably "Meridian." I never really bought into the characters' actions, and the only memorable bit was the dialogue about counting each others' spots.

Valiant is one of the few episodes I hate with a passion. I remember posting in here and I wasn't very nice at all.

Chrysalis
Statistical Probabilities
The one with the creepy lady who fed off of Jake.
The one that was similar to A Midsummer Night's Dream

I like Statistical Probabilities. In fact, it's one of my favourites. What was wrong with it?

But yes, Valiant was kind of...blah.

ok, enough!!

Can someone pleeeaaasssseeee actually respond to my original request?I said: "Does anyone know what happened to that list? Or know where i can find it?"

Is that too much to ask??

"Profit and Lace" is the worst for me. I only caught a glimpse of the sex-changed operation Quark for only 4 seconds, but it literally almost made me want to throw up just seeing that alone. :wtf:

on this note, this is what we, in the bizz, call transphobia

A fellow poster named Gold Grizzly did an episode ranking poll about every week for DS9, Voyager, and TNG. He asked people to rank the episodes 1-10, 1 being the worst, and 10 being the best, and this episode came in last. Not sure how he came up with the averages, but the different averages ranked the episodes from first to last.

I know that The Muse is one episode that many people often point to as being one of DS9's worst, but I must say that I love the speech Odo gives at his wedding with Lwaxana Troi! I don't remember it precisely, word for word. Does anybody else know it?

I think that even the worst episodes of DS9 have at least some redeeming aspect to them. Meridian has Jeffrey Combs making his Trek debut as Tiron. Let He Who Is Without Sin... has that revealing speech from Worf about how he accidentally killed another boy during a soccer game. And even the silliest Ferengi episodes have at least a couple of hilarious lines!
