According to wikipedia, today is World Hello Day. The objective is to say hello to ten people on the day. By greeting others, the message is for world leaders to use communication rather than force to settle conflicts.

Well, I bartended last night, so I definitely said Hello to more than 10 people.

I don't need a special day, I say "Hello" to the regulars at the park everyday, and sometimes newbies.

I'm just a nice guy. :-)


I also spend 40 minutes petting homeless kitties, with about 20+ spent on one cat who just absolutely insisted.

I said hello to a gazillion football fans and the troop of coppers escorting them yesterday on the train.... also, I had these boys helping me find (and carry) books at the library, having previously greeted them with hello.

Today, I stayed indoors.
