Working on Labor Day?

I'm not!

I did, however, work roughly 40 hours over the holiday weekend. What was supposed to be a short little 4-hour shift yesterday turned into a 14-hour shift that didn't end until 4 o'clock in the morning. Gotta love the bar industry.

But now I have the day off. Granted, I have every Monday, off, so this is hardly something special for the holiday, and I have to be back at work tomorrow, so I only get one day off.

How about you? Working on Labor Day?

I'm going to spend some time tonight prepping for my meetings tomorrow, but since the markets are closed today, I'm not in an office because the offices are all closed.

No, I was scheduled off today anyway, but I got Sunday off so it's fine. A nice 5 day break.

I'm always off Mondays nowadays, but I would have gotten Tuesday off if I hadn't taken vacation for the entire week.

So...10 day weekend.

I am on vacation all this week, but if this was not the case I would almost surely be working on Labor Day. (The only day out of the year that my store is closed, is Christmas.)

The Band had a parade today. I put in a four hour workday.
