Maybe Worf said that because he’s still not over it. Or maybe there’s some obscure Klingon law that would dishonor K’Ehleyr’s entire family if it came out that she was his mate at the time of his own dishonor.
I’m leaning toward the first explanation. Worf has always been a bit of a softie, and the trauma of losing his first and one true love could explain why he avoids talking about her.
Of course, it could also just be a writing or production oversight. That’s never happened before, right?
