Worf in DS9, a good idea?

And were contrived excuses for Worf to turn up on TNG movies a good idea after he left that crew.

When I first heard about Worf on DS9 I was excited and for the most part I enjoyed him on the show. Though it felt like it took a while for him to fit in and for the writers to find a place for him. But I'm glad he was on the show because it led to some expansion of Worf's story, Dax's story (and consequently Sisko's story as well), built on the Klingons, and I think Worf was a better fighter and warrior on DS9 than he was on TNG. He was often the measuring stick to show how bad ass an enemy was on TNG which often resulted in Worf being taken down.

I still thought Worf stood out more on TNG and was more needed on TNG than DS9, but still, his character was handled well and developed well on DS9. He went from a security officer on TNG to the ambassador to the Klingon Empire on DS9. And Nemesis promptly demoted him.
