Words You Have Trouble Saying.

"Synthesizer." It inevitably dissolves into a mess at the end, so I just say "synth."

I'm also one of those people that has a tendency to drop the L in "wolf" if I'm not paying attention.

When I was a kid I could not for the life of me pronounce "parallel" - and I mean 9 - 12 years, not little kid. Can't remember now what gave me the trouble.

I still have to concentrate to say "cumulative" correctly, I have to working out in my head starting from "accumulate"

I also swallow my 't's, which isn't wrong necessarily but isn't something Canadians do, so little miss trampledamage keeps correcting me "KeeTON, mummy!" The boys name "Theoren" took a while to figure out too.

Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

Bastard. I am most annoyed you got to that joke before me. I hit multi-quote on Roger Wilco's post to make it and was scrolling down and then saw you got to it first. :techman:

Anyway, I sometimes have a little trouble with words like London, company, onion, monster, etc. Due to my mother's accent, I have a tendency to pronounce the "o" in them a little nasally, almost turning it into a "u". I've corrected this mostly over the years, but occasionally it still slips out with the wrong pronounciation. A chink in the armour of my otherwise fairly RP accent.
