I'm having a relapse of a pre-existing kidney problem and due to severe gravametric-field induced damage to my laptop my computer time is limited. I'll be poking in from the hospital when I can, going to be gone for a week to ten days.

I've got $500 budgeted for a replacement laptop. The HP NC 6220 seems to be what I am looking for technology-wise... got a line on a used one for cheap. Any major flaws or faults I should know about? If not that one then what the opinion on a Dell Lattitude X300?

This is not cancer, it's chemical induced damage... I've been exposed to some nasty chemicals over the years.
