Conventional wisdom is that marketing averages around the same as the production budget. So even accounting for 2 times the production budget they've still made around $1.5 billion for the movies. It's hard to judge how profitable any of them were because the box office doesn't represent the amount going to the studio. The amount they get depends on the arrangement they have with the cinema chains, and they get a higher percentage when the movie is new with the cinemas taking a larger share the longer the movie stays on screens. They also don't get as much from overseas box office. But there's also DVD and streaming sales as well as merchandise to take into account. The only movie so far likely to have come in at a loss, is Justice League, largely due to the extensive reshoots needed. But even that will probably be recouped long term through DVDs and merchandise.Sigh....
I guess we don't take into account the hundreds of millions in marketing per movie.![]()
She has multiple brothers being the daughter of Zeus.Well, she's the only one in the trinity to have a brother. There's that.
But aren't they all dead now? Oh, wait, that's just the demi-god ones. She has multiple brothers being the daughter of Zeus.
I'm simultaneously disgusted by this idea but also relieved that it didn't head (directly) where I initially thought it was going: the Wonder Twins.Yes, twins. DC Comics announced that Wonder Waaaaaahhhhh! will be released in 2022 dealing with the the babies.
