Wonder Woman(NBC) *Spoilers!*

I still think that the actress who played Sif in THOR would be perfect as WW. She's got the whole mythic comic book warrior princess thing down . . . .

^ IIRC, she said that she'd like to play the role but felt that having been in Thor might hamper her chances. Though tell that to Ryan Reynolds, James Marsden etc.

Now that looks like Wonder Woman. :techman:

Not to mention Chris Evans, Halle Berry, Christian Bale, Buster Crabbe, Roger Moore, etc.

How does Bale fit in? Are you referring to him being both Batman and John Connor?

If so, we should probably also count Robert Downey, Jr., who's both Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes.

Of course, it happens all the time in animation. Rino Romano has been Spider-Man and Batman. Josh Keaton has been Spider-Man and Hal Jordan. Loren Lester has been Robin and Hal Jordan. Vanessa Marshall has been Mary Jane Watson, Wonder Woman, and Black Canary. Mark Hamill has been the Joker, the Trickster, the Hobgoblin, Gargoyle, and others. Tara Strong has been Batgirl, Vicki Vale, the Huntress, Sif, the Scarlet Witch, Billy Batson, X-23, and others. Grey DeLisle has also been Vicki Vale as well as Black Canary, Black Widow, Ms. Marvel, Psylocke, and others. And so on.

Exactly. Granted, John Connor isn't technically a comic book hero, but Bale's still played two iconic genre heroes. And nobody seemed to mind when Indiana Jones was played by Han Solo. Or when Gandalf was played by Magneto!

I have to say that Erica Durance really fills that costume very well,
A little more so than Palicki did, I'd say. Although the costume presumably had to be altered to fit Durance, since she's three inches shorter than Palicki.

So it seems:):

I am really curious now of seeing how Durance did in her "Wonder Woman" role..maybe someone could comment when and if they see the episode:cool:?
I wonder if Durance would be a good choice to play WW in a movie adaption, I mean she was not bad at all as Lois Lane in Smallville:shifty:..

It's the same pants maybe but the top looks alot different as does the belt.

Yeah, I've mentioned that before. She really is the best choice out there right now.

Looks like the same ones to me. About the only differences I see are the lighting and the body types of the actresses.

Still. Depending on which origin you want to go with, she was literally granted life by the Gods out of clay! I somehow doubt she's going to be greatly prone to scratches and bruises from most attacks that do not come from another god/demigod.

Yeah sorry I was being cheeky with the New 52 retcon of her origin. Diana has taken beatings before from creatures and what not. Something big and something powerful usually. Sigh. Those pics make me wish we still had got Joss' "Wonder Woman".

Yeah, that would have pretty much been guaranteed awesomeness. I'm honestly kinda surprised he hasn't tried his hand at doing WW comics.

He still can...although I don't think he has much interest in DC. I think Joss has stated he much prefers Marvel characters.
