Wonder Woman(NBC) *Spoilers!*

It would help if she was standing straight instead of doing that strange little push out with her gut.

Ugh. The stars are inconsistent. The shorts almost look like panties and she actually so far only dressed the top of her costume and still has to put the bottoms of her panties on. They need to be a bit less like underwear and more like a superhero... thing

Thank Christ this thing was shelved. Whatever happened to that awesome spec script for a WWII Wonder Woman movie? If Captain America does big business it may surface again....

I know alot of people didn't like the costume, but I never really had any problems with it. I think it fits in pretty well with the kinds of costumes we've been getting in the recent superhero movies.
I forgot to specifify when I said this that I was talking about the earlier pants version (the second main, although I didn't have to much of a problem with the first). My only real issue with the bikini bottoms is the length, I really think it should cover a little more. Especially if she's supposed to be out running and fighting in them.
EDIT: I just took another longer look, and they're actually not as short as I thought they were during my first quick glance, and I do like them. I still prefer the pants though.

You're al forgetting how HOT it is in the Mediterranean that it's a bloody miracle that the Amazons wore clothes at all considering they were all family and lovers, unless you contend that their super powers made them immune to temperature extremes just like Wonder Woman?

I'm not exaggerating to say that that belt buckle is so large that "Diana" looks 4 months pregnant at first glance.

Batman's utility vehicle is smaller than that belt.

By definition crack whores have a demographic with a generous surplus of disposable income.

besides, if we got used to to what "M.A.N.T.I.S." wore, or how many buttons Hasselhoff thought were redundant to his silk shirts, we would have acclimatized to this "costume" no matter how awful it might have been.

It still takes me ten minutes of so to get used to the hair in Star wars when ever i revisit that universe like a diver equalizing his pressure to avoid the bends.

A friend of mine once lived in a garage with a mass of old 70s playboys that had been left there years earlier. They floated about. One issue was making a big deal about how TV's Nancy Drew was taking her kit off. This here girl will never be Wonder Woman enough to skeeve to those depths.

Pity.

She looks like a crack-ho turning a trick in that outfit.

Haha seriously, and I don't even mean in a joking way. I live in a city with plenty of crack-hoes and it really has that look to it. She does look good though, if hilariously stupid.

I never really watched the Lynda Carter series as a kid, so I don't have "boner nostalgia" for it, but she looks pretty funny (in a stupid way) too.

I guess there's always gonna be 'pigs' like me who find it really hard to take seriously a woman in a bikini fighting bad guys in live action.

It's not a matter of being a pig, or even gender-based: it's really hard to "take seriously" a guy in tights and a cape swinging from a line. I mean, this guy is toast. But we watch it anyway.

I've wondered why I can take Superman's costume more seriously than Wonder Woman's. I think it's because I can excuse those blue and red tights as being a product of an alien civilization. But I don't see why an Amazonian warrior from an ancient civilization would want to wear a skimpy, gaudy thing like that.

This is not from the comics but consider, in her natural habitat she'd be wearing short little cute Roman orgy toga slave girl sort of outfit with sandals that strap up to her pretty little knees, that you used to see walking about in the background during Caligula, Rome or I Claudius and such...

Right?

Take a complete absence of knowledge about the 20th century.... 21st century.

She's blank.

The culture shock, trying to come to terms with mans world, would be like a spade smacking her in the face, to figure out what "normal" is from watching a few hours of MTV or Youtube.

Luthor laughed to say that the weak bumbling boob that is Clark Kent is all that Superman thinks of humanity as a species once upon a time when he briefly got past the secret identity veil.

She's trying to look like what she thinks makes us feel comfortable.

Remember how Doc Brown (1955) dressed up Marty like Roy Rogers before he sent him back to 1885?
