Looking at the WWII pictures, I wonder if they'll be including a little tie-in to the 'Captain America' movie or visa-versa. I gather those two have fought side by side in some comic stories. Actually, wasn't there a bit in on of the animated shows that had Logan and Cap liberating a concentration camp that included the young Eric Lehnsherr? He has a very minor role in the film

I have a feeling that this is going to be Marvel's Catwoman. Basically, if you're over thirty, this is not the superhero film for you. It has every fanboy character from the X-Universe that is a turnoff (Gambit, Deadpool, Sabertooth). Plus, if you take Wolverine out of the context of the X-Men, where he's the most interesting, he's just another bland, post-Claremont, remoresless killing machine with anger management issues. Yawn.

And before you say that Jackman can do no wrong, I have two words for you: Van Helsing. 'Nuff said.

Nope. Marvel licenses the character away which effectively means the relenquish the right to use the character in that medium for "x amont of time".

I remember reading somewhere though - I believe during X3 - that they weren't allowed to have crossovers. That's why Spider-Man isn't mentioned in the X-Men films and vice versa despite it being in the same town (and how Stan Lee plays someone else in each film).

I wasn't suggesting a full blown cross-over or even a cameo. More along the lines of the way Cap's shield was just barely seen in the background in 'Iron Man' or how the sonic blaster things in 'Incredible Hulk' has "Stark Industries" on the blueprints. Something small like that.

Would still be a breach of their contract - they been seen as profiting off something "belonging" to another company.

Wasn't there a bunch of "blink and you miss it" references to other Marvel stories on a computer screen in X-Men 2? Or were those all directly X-Men related?
