Hey guys this thread is to show the design progress for my submission to the november art challenge! The Horizon class U.S.S. Enterprise.

The first pic was the original concept drawing, this one is the wip side veiw...I may be going overboard with the windows and escape pods.

Excellent! Excellent! What a beautiful Shape!
The one thing you need to do is to remove the Arrowhead pendant (Just like the ship herself, create a new insignia). Keep this as unique as you can

can it be a delta, just not one we've seen before, or doest it need to be something else entirely?

btw the pelham shipyards peices is my personal logo/watermark and has nothing to do with the current project other than it being my artistic signiture.

It can definitely be an arrowhead or delta, but make it as different as possible or you see fit

The side view reminds me a little of a solar sailer ship from an old book cover.

Mainly additional detailing to the fire and aft views, i havent had much time to work on her the last few days, but I'll post when I get homw from work.

Heres the latest (cleaned up) wip. I havent got much done due to work/life but shes not abandoned.

Still, a truly elegant design. So sweet.
oh and I'm liking the new Arrowhead.

Further progress, most hulls shapes are in place, mainly detailing left for the orthos section.
