I never even heard her name until I saw she was involved in XI.

Consider yourself lucky. As I child of the plasticky, marketing-first 80s, I got really sick and tired of hearing about her and a handful of other "representatives" of my generation over and over again. She's not a bad actress and she isn't ugly, but there's really nothing special about her to me -- and I like petite brunettes.

I made 2 threads about John Cho in the recent past in this forum so that the posters could get to know actor John Cho better to better familarize them with him for the upcoming film, but due to "white ethnocentricism" over running this board, it was shut down by the mods like the way Jewish temples were during the reign of Nazi Germany.

A white "clepto" gets her trivial thread open in this forum, but an Asian American actor with discernible talents outside of acting (music, Asian American activism, etc.) gets his threads shut down and censured in this anglospheric board?

Winona has an assistant that does her shopping for her. Winona looks around and does the choosing but it's her assistant who picks things up and does the paying. I worked in a store she came into and when our security guy tried to help her into the car with the bags (he was a big fan), the poor woman was terrified. He told me he felt sorry for her because that just wasn't fair. She was welcome in our store anytime. Other customers we didn't trust but Winona made a big effort to make sure everyone knew she was OK: She's too recognizable to do otherwise.

Her past record has made her an easy target for anyone to blame (like whoever stole this jewelry) and others are only too willing to believe them.

No, you didn't.

Instead, you wanted to use this as an opportunity to post a load of nonsense which has even less to do with the movie than the OP's article does. Don't do that in here any more; if you want to make a thread about racism or racial discrimination (as nearly all of yours end up being) then call it that up front and post it in the appropriate forum, rather than trying to sneak it in under the guise of an unrelated topic.
