I've had two microfracture procedures on my right knee over the last year. During this surgery, the surgeon drills holes into the femur and creates a divot in the bone. The bone marrow leaks out to form a blood clot over the site. The stem cells in the bone marrow get "switched on" in the knee space and begin to form a "fibro-cartilage" that bonds to the blood clot and forms a replacement cartilage like substance to provide cushion in the knee. The goal is to avoid or reduce the likelihood of arthritis or knee replacement in the future.

I can honestly say that my knee hasn't felt this good in 2 years.

I think the argument was that Bush was vetoing all funding on a federal level, but wouldn't ban it outright. If he had completely moral objections he would push for a total ban across America, so there is no "moral" issue in this at all.
