Spoilers Willow sequel series on Disney+

Daikinis don't have to age at the rate we do.
That would hold up if Warwick Davis and Joanne Whalley weren't also in this, and they've definitely have aged at the rate humans do, because you know, they are.

Like I said, it could have to do with whatever makes her special. Dragon soul. Elf blood. Whatever. Or I could just be way off and something else is going on with Elora.

Oddly, everything online says the movie takes place 20 years after the original. So if true, take that as you will. But I can't find anything official despite everywhere reporting on that.

Meaning everyone else seems to age faster haha

I hadn't heard that. Maybe magical spell backwash from unfreezing Tir Asleen?

House of the Dragon, Rings of Power, Willow, good time for fantasy TV.
Don't forget Sandman!

I really need to watch the film again because this series even on its own looks fantastic.

I'm thinking swords, wizards, dragons, orcs and goblins, that kind of stuff. The comic age has definitely brought no shortage of "fanstastical" films. (EDIT: not that I didn't enjoy Sandman)
What's more fantasy than wild dreams? :p

Yeah, I get your point. I'm just being curmudgeonly. Also, season two of Sandman (should we get it) will feature more "traditional" fantasy elements.

I think we can all agree that it's a good year for Sci-fi & Fantasy in general, but also for the sword & sorcery end of things in particular.

As for the trailer; I am unreasonably happy that Kevin Pollak is back, even if it's just for a little cameo.
He's always spoken so fondly of this role, that it would have felt odd if they hadn't at least asked him back.

Can't wait. Love that shot where it looks like Willow conjures the image of Sorsha and Raziel as they were in the film.

Since its Disney.. I hope its a more family freindly swords and sorcery.. To much gore, etc like game of thrones.. A nice family freindly adventure of awe..

I'm assuming they'll keep the content level at about the same as the movie and/or the Star Wars and Marvel series.
Damn, this almost looks like it could be better than the movie.
I'm still very curious what became of Elora, because they seem to be making a point of not mentioning her. She's such a big part of the first movie, and should pretty important as she's gotten old, so there has to be a reason they aren't talking about her.
I'm kind of expecting a big reveal part way through the season that Ellie Bamber's Dove is actually her.
