I saw him at a convention recently. He looks pretty good and has no trouble walking.
As for appearing as kirk. Highly doubt it. Not because of his age but because kurtzmans trek production is finished. Theres nowhere that shatners kirk can make an appearance now. Hes moved on to other things now. The kirk ending as bad as it was is what we got and we have to live with it.

Some people can't seem to get past age.Shatner looks healthy and is active. Too bad no one came up anything good for his return.
