Will you be taking anyone else to see it??

Actually, I might go on my own.

I'm a real softy, and I know I might well up when Leonard Nimoy comes on!

I cried when Spock died!

Yes.
My brother and 3 mores friends will be joining. I'm the only Trek fan from this company. Well my brother has watched much Trek thanks to me but still he's not really a "must watch Trek, talk about it online" fan.

And if I end up watching it a second time I'll probably go on my own.

The original plan and, given the rave reviews, I'm still sticking with is:

Opening night: By myself. My younger brother has some comprehension of the Trek Universe due to my fervent following of it, but... well, it's up to him. I'm sure he'll enjoy it immensely based on current reviews, but I will be glued to the screen and not interested in question time midway through the film.

Second time round, if it's that good... I'll want the whole clan to join me. God, I might finally convert one!

The ball and chain.

Seriously, were away on the week it opens, we travel back on the 8th, so i might see it with her on preview night on the 7th.

Havnt organised anything with anyone else thus far, but i will no doubt be going to see it again, even if it is on my own.

but, theres nothin' wrong with that. :techman:

Its pretty weird but....

I found a GIRL who is into TREK and for some reason likes hanging around ME.

I didn't think such a being existed. We'll will probably go together on the 8th.

I found one.

Not too keen on Trek, but shes a little bit of a sci fi fan, so she tollerates my Trek crap.

Theyre a rare breed. Keep her.;)

I have a bit of a crew going. My wife and 8 year old son. Every time he sees a commercial he gets crazy. DAD STAR TREKS ON! Ya gata love it. Also I'm bringing my moma and oldest brother. The 2 people that got me into trek in the first place. were all very excited.

Im going with my friends on the 7th. Then im going to go with my other group of friends during the weekend. Possibly going to the imax alone or maybe with my mother.Funny thing is, half of my friends are not even trek fans and they want to go see it. Cant wait.

I will be dragging several "normals" (people who haven't seen or thought about Trek in years) to this flick. It better be good! :rommie:

yes, I am watching it at least a couple of times during the opening weekend with a variety of people in my life.

It's a family event! I'm driving 2 hours back to my parent's house, and I'm seeing it with them and my two younger siblings.

We've seen all the Star Trek movies together since Generations came out.

I'd take my girlfriend, but she has a jealousy complex in regards to Zoe Saldana and my admiration for her "talents." What's a guy to do?

^hmm... take your Trekkie buddies instead but meet her for dinner etc afterward. that way she won't feel too bad.

I'll be going on my own on May 7, but after that it will be multiple trips: wife and daughter for a showing, my dad (who's watched TOS since Sept. 8, 1966) for another and going with friends for yet another showing.

It was just everyone's schedule not coinciding. And, I have to suffer through numberous viewings of the movie...

(this from someone who saw TUC 13 times! As a sidenote, I knew someone who worked for a theatre, so any free night we were there watching TUC.)

I'll be taking my brother on the 8th (he hasn't seen a Trek flick since FC and hates most of them) and my wife on the following Tuesday (never seen Trek).

I'm trying to convince a couple of friends to come along but they're hesitant (not Scifi fans).
