I do like that they've got the unremastered TOS episodes on cbs

Not gonna lie, I kind like that, even though I don't mind the remasters.

And they have the HD remaster of TNG, which looks amazing.

Free month is expiring in a few days, and I still haven't finished Discovery. They offered me two months at 50% off, to keep me from cancelling. I figure two months of commercial free for six bucks a month isn't too bad. Now all I gotta do is rev up enough interest to watch!

That is a good deal. I will do the free month but my days of paying for content is almost gone now. Even at 50% I won't do it.

I cut the cord about 5 years ago and except for Sports I haven't missed it at all. I only have internet and I use my girlfriend's Netflix to watch a few shows. I don't even rent anymore. It's just free content on youtube or library rentals now. Saves me tons of cash. I will probably do the free CBS all access for the Picard show and that's it. Pretty soon every network will probably have their own download service it seems.

After CBS shut down Stage 9 fan project I won't be subbing, neither will my housemate for the same reason.

I personally will never give a penny to All Access because of the STAGE-9 shutdown among other things.

BUT...
I just found out last night ,that the Mrs has been paying for it for the last six months.
She likes to watch all the old TV shows available there as well as The Big Bang Theory.

We have the 55" TV in the bedroom hooked up to our home network and apparently I haven't been paying attention, cause I've been watching stuff with her from All Access when I get home from work at midnight.

I thought it was Netflix.

YUP...I disactivated right after Season One ended. I'll renew once Season Two starts.

But knowing there's also Picard series in the future makes it even sweeter.

Canceled my subscription in March. I'll be renewing in Jan for DIS season 2. This time I'll go with the commercial free option. Watching what seemed like the same 3-4 commercials over and over was driving me bonkers, but I was too cheap to upgrade. On further reflection, saving $20 ($4/mo for 4-5 months) isn't worth my sanity.
