My brother, for one. He visited over the last few days and kept picking fights with me over it. He truly believes that Xbox One will be the superior console because of features enabled by the new Kinect, and he's disappointed that MS backed away from their previous DRM policies as he said that those features would be conveniences for him. He also believes the claims about cloud processing and how it will be a game-changer, and he uses the phrase "future proof" a lot. At one point, he referred to the PS4 as the "Playstation 3.5". He thinks that indie games are mostly crap and that forcing indie devs to partner with publishers will impose quality control on the XBL marketplace. He accuses me of taking part in an anti-MS circlejerk because of my concerns about what I perceive to be worrying anti-consumer policies associated with MS's flagship products over the last few years. He compared my preference for the PS4 as being a similar form of delusion as those exhibited by religious fanatics.Kind of makes me wonder just who IS buying the xbox one?
He owns a Surface RT tablet and a Windows phone, and he's planning on buying a new PC with Windows 8. Just throwing that out there so you get an impression of how platform agnostic he is.
