I'm due for an upgrade, my Blackberry is playing up something chronic and I'm considering switching codes. I don't mind which colour I get, and I'm not a Mac-head so I'm not gonna rush out and buy one for the sake of an Apple logo on the back of it.

But was wondering what people thought of this late release, especially considering Apple will only have it on the shelves for about four months before replacing it with the iPhone 5.

Why would the color matter - you're just going to put a case on it anyway, unless you enjoy having your $300 phone break.

Anyway, I still have the 3GS; I'm due for an upgrade in July, but will wait until the 5 comes out, and then probably give it a few months for them to shake out the bugs.

I like my iPhone 4, and the color of the case had nothing to do with it. I've got a white case on it anyway.

I don't think I could write a reply better than this:

Nope.

Had then 2nd and now the 4th iPhone. Still planning to wait for the 6th.

No reason for me to jump on absolutely every update that comes out. Certainly not for a color change.

I have a Sony Ericsson X10 mini Android phone, and it's a great little device. A few of my mates have iPhones, and they're always moaning about something not working properly, so I'm not really interested in getting one myself. I think they're massively overrated.

When it's upgrade time, I'll be going for the SE Xperia Play (the Playstation phone).

I have a black iPhone 4 which is less than a year old, so, no. I'll upgrade when the six comes out, or thereabouts.

I find it curious that all the "no" options assume you already have at least one iPhone.

Gep, prepaid.

My trusty old iPhone 3G still works. I won't upgrade until the iPhone 5 (or whatever the hell they're going to call it) is released, the mass hype dies down, the bugs are discovered and fixed, and there's plenty of supply in-stock.
