Will we ever see William Bearclaw again in Star Trek?

I wouldn't mind the other characters either such as the Klingon and the Horta whose names I have forgotten but I really liked this character in the comics back in the day. I would love to see him again either in books or even on one of the tv shows or movies. In fact his dad was a Starfleet Captain so we could at least maybe see his dad during "Discovery" and "TOS" tv show era I would think.

Is love Peter David or Diane Duane to do some kind of "where are they now?" comic, catching us up with their original characters years later (and glossing over the continuity issues)

EDIT: Peter David did follow up on Konom and Bryce in Strike Zone, which featured their child Kobry in the Next Gen era.

I love all these DC Volume 1 characters. I gained new appreciation for Bearclaw in the spotlight issue, "The Trouble With Bearclaw" which really impressed me with how intriguingly complex the character is underneath the surface, as well as how amazing he can be at saving a landing party in a desperate situation. I would love Bearclaw and the rest of them have more adventures, but it feels like they dwell in obscurity and are unlikely to return unfortunately. I would be happy to wrong about that, and will be one of the first in line to welcome them back in new novels or comics.

In "Star Trek: Discovery", as soon as the Klingons began to cast slurs about the paleness of Voq's skin, I thought of both The Albino (in DS9's "Blood Oath") and the diminutive Moron (aka Bernie, aka Kobry, in the "Star Trek, Series I" DC Comic), named for Bryce's father. Made me wonder if Voq's offspring is destined to take revenge on the House of Kor.

Sherwood did get name dropped in a novel, "Gemini", long after that Series I comic had ended.

Kirk's female foil, the feisty RJ Blaise, was ordered gone early into Series II by Richard Arnold, but managed to sneak back in a "Special" issue's story, "Blaise of Glory" by Peter David.

In the lead-up to the "New Frontier" novel which reintroduced time slipped Arex and M'Ress ("Gateways" crossover), Peter David had the characters mentioning that there was "a Bearclaw in the mess hall", leading us to expect him, not the TAS duo. But he meant the donut variety.

You took Naraht for granite?

That theory has been making the rounds since L'Rell and Voqler left the baby at Boreth.
As for Bearclaw and co. I would love to see them again, but sadly, I think their time has probably passed at this point.
