Speaking of Scottish police boxes, Edinburgh has still got two or three police boxes still standing on the streets, but none of them are of the 'TARDIS' design. They're still the right color though. There's one standing outside a Starbucks in the Royal Mile!

There are a lot more than two or three, and they come a variety of colours and uses.

By the way, here is the current modern incarnation of a police box. I walk past it every morning and don't think I've seen it work yet.
