Will Tribbles-RM have DS9 elements?

Because of Trials and Tribble-ations, of course. ;)

Meaning, will we see Sisko and Dax on the Enterprise? Odo, O'Brien and Bashir in the bar scene? :D

Had DS9 elements been included, my god, the wrath from the fanboys would have reached EPIC proportions.

^ DS9 is my favorite Trek series, might have been cool as a bonus or something but I can understand not wanting the original ep changed. The parts from "Trials and Tribbleations" don't completely match up, plus not all the parts from the original ep were shown.

I worked a bit, haven't gotten back to do something along the lines of the TOS ep with the parts from DS9. There is another version that I think puts together the two but as an "Extended episode" rather than just dropping them in the background.

The Ds9 bit? It has "will have going to have happened" happened, but it hasn't actually "happened" happened yet, actually.

It will be happened; it shall be going to be
happening; it will be was an event that could will have been taken
place in the future. Simple as that.

Hope that helps. :) :p ;) :borg:

I always wonder what happened to the two guys that Bashir and O'Brien replace during the line up in front of Kirk after the bar fight on K7. I mean the Lieutenant that O'Brien replaces originally had the line O'Brien says and he should've still been there but beside O'Brien on his left so O'Brien can still steal the line and then have Bashir on the left of the Lieutenant.

DS9 is my favorite Trek, but adding those elements to the "re-mastered" The Trouble With Tribbles (TTWT) would have been a bad idea.

First, incorporating material from Trials And Tribble-ations (TAT) into the original ep adds nothing to the original ep. TAT's story is dependent upon TTWT, but the opposite isn't true about TTWT. It simply just doesn't need the DS9 footage to tell the story.

Second, it might be too confusing or distracting for non-Niners to see these modern day actors walking around the episode.

Third, why pay Brooks, Farrell, and the rest when you don't have to?

Fourth, some people already have their knickers in enough of a twist over the updated episodes as it is. Why give them more fodder?

That all being said, I have a poorly edited version combining both episodes that I made years ago on a VHS tape. Hmmm, now that I have a DVD burner (since X-mas!), I might try to do the same on disk.

Define "fanboys" in your derrogatory implication. 'Cause I'd think the "fanboy" or "fanwank" thing to do would BE to include the DS9 characters where they don't friggin' belong.

Nah. Not all of the elements from the original were duplicated in the DS9 episode.

They both stand on their own.

God how I miss Red Dwarf. One of the most fan-smegging-tastic shows on the planet. :guffaw: :rommie:

Personally, I wouldn't have cared if they did or not. Would've been cool if they did, but its understandable why they didn't. I've got video editing software, I'll do it myself.

I was going to say that. Or at least words to that effect.
