Then again, what wasn't name dropped in Enterprise Season 4?

I don't have to, the show does it for me, Riker calls it a historical simulation not a holonovel. And you can't convince me otherwise
It’s not her fault.Rebecca Romijn really isn't working for me right now. But, to be fair to her, they haven't given her much to do. Hopefully she rises to the occasion when its time for her big dramatic moment.
Yeah, her part on An Obol for Charon was unnecessary, but I think she was included only to provide a teaser for her future appearances.Number One’s role seemed to be “deliver the expository document and show how the food replicators work”
I was very disappointed.
There were better ways to do all of that. A great episode, for sure, but her part felt tacked on in a jarring way.Yeah, her part on An Obol for Charon was unnecessary, but I think she was include to provide a teaser for more to come with her.
It was more a case of "and don't forget about Number One...more to come later!" rather than being something meaningful.
I will think of a better scene right now--There were better ways to do all of that. A great episode, for sure, but her part felt tacked on in a jarring way.
Order 66 is the Cheeseburger with pepper bacon. Habanero sauce on the side.I will think of a better scene right now--
Mirror Georgiou: I have good news for you, Number One. Spock has been framed.
Number One: Excellent. Everything is going as planned.
Number One: The time has come. Execute General Order 24.
Jose Tyler: It will be done my lady.
Hey, everyone says Discovery takes so much from Star Wars.![]()
I thought An Obol for Charon was a "tacked together" episode in general. The story and the subplots were very interesting, but the story-telling was a bit messy. The pacing was odd and the different subplots were delivered in a jarring way (to borrow your word). There were better ways to do all of that. A great episode, for sure, but her part felt tacked on in a jarring way.

Oh no, they have mind reading food synthesizers on Discovery in the 23rd century. Canon violation alert!!Something appeared for Pike, but you don't actually see him order.

Hey, the original Number One overloaded her laser to stop the Talosians! Watch new Number One overload the warp core to wipe out the red angels. :OShe ate a hamburger with jalapenos. Give her a bit more time to evolve the role... Besides, that's more than the original Number One did.

As long as she handles every problem by setting a phaser to overload and saying "It's wrong to do X to people", I'll be convinced they got her character right.
