The Evil Leaper program?
Aside from bringing Sam home (which seems unlikely due to real world events, but you never know), what other aspects of QL mythology could this series go deeper into?
Which was the "closest" leap in time Sam ever did? Has he ever gone beyond the 80s?
four of them in 1985 for some reason. (Good year for time travelers, I guess. Great Scott!)
He actually Leapt before his birth three times. The Civil War one, and then two which took place while he was still in utero. And he only did one leap to somewhere before the day of his birth, to the Civil War.
That's how the word is pronounced. At least where I hail from."Leapt" is a word, but it sounded like Ben said "Lept" which is not a word, but it could have been his accent or my ears.

Leapt rhymes with kept.Lept rhymes with kept.
Leapt rhymes with heaped.
And here comes the Pom to break the tie; yeah it's "Leapt" which sounds like "kept". "Leaped" which sounds like "heaped" is also correct, but I almost never hear it, and thus it often just sounds wrong.Leapt rhymes with kept.
Leaped rhymes with heaped.
(Again, so far as where I live. Can't speak for other countries, but if I recall correctly, you're a fellow AUS/NZ resident.)

Agreed! Boy howdy. Hopefully just like QL did, they keep playing with the saga sell until they find a sweet spot. And I'd much rather have Deborah do it.Oof. Someone needs to send that opening narration back for a few more drafts. Really clunky with the multiple forced dramatic pauses, and nowhere near the flare of the original's.
