Will Rachel Return As Catwoman in Batman 3?

In the next movie, Batman gets shot in the head, which messes up his memory and he turns into a criminal who calls himself Man-Bat. To stop him, Alfred puts on the cape and cowl to become Batman and Lucius Fox gets his own costume and becomes Robin.

Well although we didn't "see her die, we almost did. The camera did show the start of the explosion, her wincing from it, and her hair blowing.

But maybe that was different explosion than the other two that annihilated buildings and burned the coin that was in her possession, and she's actually Talia al-Ghul aka Selina Kyle and she's going to be a dominatrix working for Stan in the next one and also a flight attendant and a cat burglar and a secretary until she becomes Catwoman because it was just a very light explosion that gave her amnesia until she was licked by a herd of feral cats and became insane.

Since we didn´t see her die, I find it very likely she´s not dead.

I don't think she'll be back, but it'd take a lot more than an explosion to ensure the permanent demise of a Batman character.

So let me make sure I understand you both right.

You think that it's possible she managed to get out of the ropes and escape the building in the 1/1000th of a second after this frame?

God, I hope not. Would it be too much too ask that on this, the third try, they actually get Catwoman right? Catwoman and Two-Face have already been screwed over twice in their cinema incarnations.

ETA: Besides, the Rachel character was just a typical Hollywood action-movie love interest. I'm glad she's gone.

Actually, my first reaction (and I realize the whole notion was a joke) was one of sheer horror and revulsion that threatened to send me screaming into the night, but I then thought that given the right script (meaning one with even the slightest understanding of the character), she probably could've pulled it off.

Catman will actually be the next villain, played by the Wayne Enterprises guy who tried to reveal Batman's identity. He and Bruce will have a Peter Parker/Harry Osborn relationship...

The other villain is Deadshot, played by Tiny Lister, introduced in THE DARK KNIGHT's ferry scene.

Robin Grayson will be the name of Batman's new love interest.

Bob Hoskins appears as a mechanic hired to build the new Batmobile.

Lucious Fox will reveal himself to be the true Ra's Al Ghul, and will be shot by Alfred at the end of the film.

I, for one, actually liked Rachel Dawes. I liked how Bruce and Rachel were childhood sweethearts but their paths diverged. She became an A.D.A. and he became the Batman. Fighting the same fight but through different means. The only issue I ever had with Dawes was Katie Holmes and I don't think she was all that bad, rather she looked mediocre amongst the acting giants that filled Batman Begins.
