You would thing they would try to break into that wing of the Trek Franchise every decade or so.

The answer is the same as it was every other time you've asked this question: Yes, we'd love to. But we haven't yet found a way to do a proper one affordably, given the current size of the audience for such material.

^I realize it goes against your nature to give those of us involved in the creation and publication of such material the benefit of the doubt...but try, anyway.

You mean in a similar way to you posting this question every few months?

Of course, now that Im nearing 30 - don't think I'd be trotting up to the Barnes&Noble check out counter with Trek manuals under my arm.
I'm pretty sure that Star Charts and [Starship Spotter[/i] were published this decade. And if a book like Star Charts didn't make money, as was mantioned when you asked this three or four times ago, then what non-fic book would? I'd love to see more of them too, but I don't want to pay $50 for them, and I understand Pocket's desire not to lose any more money on them.Posted by Dayton3:
Just curious. You would thing they would try to break into that wing of the Trek Franchise every decade or so.
Well if you don't like their tech publications, why do you whine about their scarcity so often?Posted by Dayton3:
Sorry, my faith died when "Starship Spotter" was published.

Go to an out of town bookstore, where no one knows you. Or buy them from Amazon.![]()

Unfortunately, the plan to force bookstore patrons at gunpoint to purchase the tech manuals proved to be non-cost-effective, and not especially good for Pocket's image.

Be serious. There are ways to appeal to a broader audience.

For the foreseeable future, there will not be many nonfiction ST titles from Pocket, though John Ordover said he tentatively had an idea in the works. Also: The Unseen Frontier: Declassified Images From the History of the Federation has been cancelled. Get over it.
