I'd honestly be fine if they went the Futurama way. Have some basic continuation but really just ignore anything you want to make a decent funny story.

Just have Grace be designing still, Karen still 'working' for her, Stan is alive ( can't remember if he was at the end or not.), Jack still being clueless, Will as a lawyer. That's it. The show went to hell when it got to complicated. Just keep it simple. Same with The Big Bang Theory. It was never to Will and Grace level of funny, but it was a lot better before they all got girlfriends and married and have children.

^ Stan was alive at the end of the series. When he came back from faking his own death, it was revealed that all the money from Walker Inc. never actually belonged to him, so Karen divorced him.

Well shit. Guess I'll be waiting a long time until it comes out on dvd then. I really hope it airs on NBC as well.
