Nahhh... "James Bond" is a false identity that regularly gets recycled when the prior agent working under that alias retires or is killed. The only "Bonds" who didn't get killed in the line of duty were Connery's Bond, Lazenby's Bond, and Moore's Bond. Connery's retired, and got called back out of retirement twice. Lazenby's Bond had a total psychological breakdown. And Moore's Bond died of syphilis.Plum said:another universe (!?!)... was Roger Moores' James Bond the 'laid back, nice guy' universe opposite Sean Connerys'?!?!?! Come oooon.![]()

What if, in the final moments of the film, William Shatner walks out onto the bridge of the 1701. Old Spock says "This is not logical. This is like a pretty bird that smells bad. How did you come back alive again?"
And Kirk bursts out: "LOVE! The love of Archer and T'Pol! Love is a many splendored thing. Love lifts me up where I belong! All I need is love!"
Old Spock and Young Spock jump up in the air and high-five each other (with their hands in the Vulcan salute pose).
Shatner is so overcome by love that he passes out, landing with his full weight on top of Pike.
Pike is crushed.
Pike gets placed in the little black robot wheelchair thingy.
Pike wheels back out onto the bridge of the 1701. Simon Pegg as Scotty asks Pike if Archer and T'Pol are still in love.
There is a long, dramatic pause. There's tension in the air. And then...
BEEP!
The crowd goes wild. The entire Enterprise crew jumps up in the air (like in those old Toyota commercials) and then the frame freezes with them all still up in the air. The end credits roll over that final image.
FANTASTIC!

Trip's ashes are lost in the desert, along with Scotty's. When the wind blows just right through the mountains, hikers claim to have heard eerie, haunting noises which sound strangely like: "I just canna quit you."

I think I've finally figured this movie out.
The Romulans discover that Spock's true parents are Archer and T'Pol. In order to prevent the Romulans from killing baby Spock and altering the timeline, Old Spock takes baby Spock from his true parents and gives him to Sarek and Amanda in order to protect baby Spock.
I can't believe I didn't put it together before now.
