Will Archer and T'Pol Still Be in Love During Star Trek XI?

Even if we don't get to see them on the screen, I think Abrams should find a way to let us know that Archer and T'Pol are deeply in love during the time period of Pike and Kirk.

The only two things people remember from "Enterprise" are Trip's rotting corpse and the star-crossed, steamy, unabashed, nugatory, fulsome love affair between that sculpted, shirtless hottie hunk of a man and that curvy, voluptuous, satiny, dreamy Vulcan goddess.

I'm not asking for a blatant reference or anything, but what if Spock could read a love poem that was written by Archer to T'Pol that celebrates their perpetual infatuation.

Or what if Dr. McCoy says, "Dammit, Jim, they replaced 'St. Valentine's Day' with 'Archer and T'Pol Are In Love For Now and Forever and Always Day!'"

Or what if Pike receives an emergency transmission from T'Pol during a heated battle with the Romulans and T'Pol says, "Captain Pike, I just wanted you to know that I am still in love with Archer for always and forever. And I never loved Trip. Pass it on." That would fucking rock!

It's a cold and rainy night here on Starbase 11, and I'm just looking out my window and dreaming of true love. I'm wrapped in a blanket, totally nude, and the only thing keeping me warm are the smoldering memories of how much in love Archer and T'Pol are. Then. Now. And always and forever!!!!!!

What ideas do the rest of you have to celebrate the greatest love affair of all time?
 
Well, since we know Archer attended the launch of the Enterprise, Abrams' best course of action is to show Archer and T'pol reunited at the ceremony, followed by a hot, steamy, geriatric sex scene. That will no doubt please the coveted 65-95 demographic.
 
Love in Trek is ALWAYS exciting and new. 11, man, 11 or bust!

T'Pol Archer. The name just rolls off the tongue. :)
 
What if, in the final moments of the film, William Shatner walks out onto the bridge of the 1701. Old Spock says "This is not logical. This is like a pretty bird that smells bad. How did you come back alive again?"

And Kirk bursts out: "LOVE! The love of Archer and T'Pol! Love is a many splendored thing. Love lifts me up where I belong! All I need is love!"

Old Spock and Young Spock jump up in the air and high-five each other (with their hands in the Vulcan salute pose).

Shatner is so overcome by love that he passes out, landing with his full weight on top of Pike.

Pike is crushed.

Pike gets placed in the little black robot wheelchair thingy.

Pike wheels back out onto the bridge of the 1701. Simon Pegg as Scotty asks Pike if Archer and T'Pol are still in love.

There is a long, dramatic pause. There's tension in the air. And then...

BEEP!

The crowd goes wild. The entire Enterprise crew jumps up in the air (like in those old Toyota commercials) and then the frame freezes with them all still up in the air. The end credits roll over that final image.

FANTASTIC!

I foresee fans greeting each other in the street with a hearty BEEP! followed by a Victory Leap into the air and a high five for good measure.

It will unite Trekdom like never before.

Almost forgot the, "BEEP!!! [VulcanV hi five}". It's that word..."Nugatory"...

Is it 'vulcan ass'? Rats, there's no way I can remember old ENT eps, heck, I'm trying to clear my brain of the horror.

Maybe archer could give Kirk some love advice while he is visiting the new enterprise. This would be very kewl. Maybe Shinzon and Sybok could be there as well. How bout the Shat as the Incredible Schmoo.

They'll be in good shape, despite having been devorced and remarried 14 times during their soap-opra years.

Well, I think it depends on how well 23rd century Viagra works, but then again they probably only get it on every seven years.

they will be, and will never be onscreen ever, ever again, nor mentioned ever, ever again. Thank goodness.
 
YES they are STILL in love because as everyone knows Archer and T'Pol's katra's were transfered to Kirk and Spock with T'Pau officiating and Pike emceeing the ambient music dance party afterward.
 
Shatner can simply play a James T. Kirk from another alternate universe. They visited many over the years that the shows have been on. he can play the Kirk of the laid back, nice guy universe.
Archer and T'pol, both on geritol would each have broken bones after being together.
