I think yes, as John filmed scenes that he said have not aired. It also would be a nice bookend from the first episode of TNG. And there are rumored 2-3 mid and after credits in episode 10.

I think its possible. Q was the one who first introduced them to the Borg and Q was involved in All Good Things when we were introduced to Picard's Irumodic Syndrome.

They cut a line mentioning that Kestra was at Star Fleet Academy.

They might go so dramatic in destroying our beloved ship and crew that Q pops in, snaps his fingers, wiggles his nose, folds his hands then nods briefly, a goofy sound effect is heard, then all is back to pre-Borg-antics.

But that's surely too easy? (Albeit not necessarily a bad contingency/standby option...)

So here's something that is anything but that:

I think Moriarty's voice will be heard, dryly saying "Computer, end program", then he appears and chides Picard over the Starfleet voice using "1-7-oh-1" as a dead giveaway that all this was an imperfect simulation, since everyone in Trekland has always said "1-7-zero-1".






Moriarty was really in for just one scene in one episode as (probably an expensive) cameo? (Which might also be the case and, go fig, isn't necessarily a bad thing because - yup - I squealed and said "Squee" at the time as well, but I digress...)

Maybe the Q Continuum use JLP and company as a way to end the Borg all together and that it "the trial".

There’s been a ton of cameos this season, and it’s only logical to save the best cameo for the finale. So while Q does meet that criterion, my moneys on Janeway since she’s already been mentioned a few times. Specifically I think she will swoop in and save Seven and Raffi.
