Just finished this mini-series from the early 90s.

Probably one of the trippiest things I have seen in a long time. Sometimes a bit cheesy, but mostly completely weird. When you're half-way through you really start to get into it though.

At times I was also getting a real The Prisoner vibe, possibly one of the influences?

I saw bits and pieces of this when it came out in the early 90s. What I remember most is that it took place in 2007 and that seemed like a long way off. Anyway, I have this on my ziplist, so I'll get around to watching it soon enough.

I remember this mini-series. I found it really interesting back then because I found the theme of virtual reality very interesting. Of course, that was a few years before VR became all the rage in movies in the late 90s.

I remember that there was a creepy child in it, that it had a really terrible choice for the lead in James Belushi (who thought he would be convincing as a lead and as a guy that Dana Delaney and Kim Cattrall are both in love with?!), that Kim Cattrall was badly overacting, that Angie Dickinson and David Warner were also in it and a bunch of other people, and that Oliver Stone made a cameo playing himself being interviewed on TV.

I liked this mini-series when it came out.
I still remember the shoot out/action scene set to the song "House of the Rising Sun" as being very well done.

I also love(d) all the Go references.

As a side note, I also recall that it has also been voted as one of the worst TV series of all time.

Recorded it and watched it when it first came out only to find out I missed the last part :(
