Sadly there is no right answer here. Liking or disliking the D's interior is just that. One person's warm and inviting is another person's bland.

Some 25 years on, the Enterprise-D looks just as unbearably '80s as TOS looks like the '60s... That beige color scheme is IMO rather yuck, nothing cheerful about it at all.
