Why Stargate Universe is destined to flop

They could have done alot more with the Lucian Alliance or the Bag of Ba'als instead of creating the lame Ori.

Umm.... SG-1 ended the G'ou'al'ldd (I'll spell it really bad as a joke.)storyline, and the DVD movie completed the bad Ori storyline. What exactly are you looking for? Would you like the earth to be blown up so therefore the story would end? That's the only way to have the story end.

One of my favorite finales is of The West Wing, it ended the storylines but opened up so much more to the story of a show you will never see. Nothing ever has an ending ending, unless all the characters are dead.

Have I walked into a Mirror Universe because BigDaddy seems to be defending the writers and I appear to be attacking them ...

SG-1 did finish the G'ou'ald story with them being a major force in our galaxy and of course the 2nd DVD movie finished of Baal. Yes the Ori plot was done but it felt so hurried in a way beause they had a single DVD movie to do it in. SG-1 was cancelled when there was at least one more season to develop a proper storyline to deal with The Ori.

SG-A has plots still open...

* The Wraith
* The Pegaus Asgard
* The Fate of Atlantis itself now its in the Milky Way

am sure theres a few more but my concern is that the SG-A DVD movie will never happen or they won't be enough to do everything that a 6th season could of done and maybe even a 7th. I just feel SG-U will either get no resolution or a rushed one.

If it makes you feel better I thought the SG-1 movies were horrible, and so was the finale 1.5 seasons of Atlantis, but both in a way had an ending, and neither story is really over and never will be.

SGU will get an ending no matter what. It might be a half ass ending but it will be soemthing.
