I think like one brick on top of another brick and a Brahms symphony, he perfected everything some how by sheer will and encompassing all areas of production. It was like filtering it through his spirit and essance. To me that's the only way to explain it. I know it is herasy to the non believers but I don't think he really knew what he and they did until much after.
