Why isn't Michael Dorn in this movie?

Hardly. As I said, 'no reason was given.' One can present theories, I've heard there's a deleted scene that explains it and maybe the novelisation also covers it, but in the film Worf is back on the Enterprise essentially without any explanation.

better excuse than INS as they just said "could you delay your return to DS9" but no reason (on film anyway not read the novel) to why he was there in the first place.

The film at least joked about the lameness of its excuse, NEM didn't even give us that.

Not a fan of Dorn's and frankly don't see the big deal with Worf. He was a whiny bitch who wavered back and forth between the Federation and the Klingons more than a reed blowing in a cyclone.

He doesn't have to be included for ANY reason and doesn't instantly deserve it.
