Someone recently made a good point to me.
If you look at all the true intellectuals they all listen to classical music. The reason why us avg. intelligence people don't listen to classical is we don't get it as the intellectuals do. Intellectuals people get the emotion and the beauty of classical music, while we just ask wheres the beat and the singing.
That kinda explains why star trek used classical more, it showed the intelligence of the characters.
