I was watching the Today show yesterday as they reviewed Lindsay Lohan's SNL hosting gig. Matt grimaced at how savage some online bloggers were of her performance and Anne laughed. "They have their own name... they are called 'the Haters'."
Oh well... if they are picking on Janeway, then maybe that means they are leaving someone else alone.

As to haters, they be hating and there will always be something it's aimed at. I think it makes you a hater if you actually campaign your hate rather than just hating something personally. The campaign element is ewww.

By no means do I "hate" the Janeway character. I thought the character development to be effective over time, and I did enjoy her interactions with both Seven-of-Boobs and The Borg Queen.
However, I didn't think she should have been promoted to Admiral ahead of Picard.

I never knew there was a tag cloud... seems too ambiguous a function to be sensible, especially since a lot of people misuse it. Click on "Janeway" and a bunch of Voyager threads come up without having Janeway as the subject or focus.

This happened organically.
By (relatively?) crazy people.
I've never tagged a thread in my life, and 90 percent of my threads ever have been about Voyager.
But just like when the first evil noticed a chink in the Slayer lineage after which it became possible to remove that threat entirely, because of Buffy not dying completely at the apex of season one... I can only imagine what the fine people in this forum might do artificially now that they realize that than can make Janeway positively super massivein in the tag cloud by tagging every thread they make in any forum about anything 'Janeway"

Wouldn't you want to see the limits to how big some concerted effot Janeway can become LARGER than Star Wars?

Green Lantern was larger than Star Wars a few weeks back, also an organic event. No one was tagging random threads Green Lantern. And if you look at the threads in this forum plenty are not tagged Janeway.. Captions, Avatar, Wang, Netfix, Tim Russ, Shuttlebay.. those are on the first page.

From the perspective of the locals hereabouts, surely all threads are about Janeway, even if they don't mention Janeway, or tagged Janeway... So, there are no threads not about Janeway to delete.
