Why is Dead Space Extration only on the Wii?

Probably because its a rail shooter, don't think theres any rail shooters on the 360 or PS3. Am currently playing Dead Space (done 4 of 12 missions) its good but the plot of everything on the ship needing fixing is a little tiresome.

The prequel is a FPS rail shooter like the ones you see on "House of The Dead" something you find in arcades, where you have no control over the players movements and just shoot/reload.

Dead Space was on every current-gen platform except the Wii. Dead Space: Extraction was made so they could bring the IP to the Wii. That's why it's a rail shooter... it was designed from the ground up to only be on the Wii.

My friend who has a Wii said the same, he loved Dead Space on my console and wanted a game like that.

Aye, sounds like a bit of a fail in terms of a getting an IP to successfully let itself be known favourably on a new console. Sabotages getting any sequels on any console perhaps?

I actually pre-ordered it but then decided againt it because to to my GF's house to play it would be a hassle.

I'm sure the whole time I would be trying to play she would be bothering me with sex and stuff.

But seriously, has anyone played it? Any good?
