Why Hasn't Jolene Done Playboy?

I'm pretty sure they floated the idea when she did the 20 Questions. But she obviously turned them down.

Which is why I don't think it'll ever happen. I'm betting her husband wouldn't be comfortable with it even if she was, and I doubt she'd really be comfortable with it, because while PLayboy is considered (by most) to be respectable, it's still a porn mag, and that's different from nudity in a movie, even if it was mainstream and everyone and his uncle saw it and knew about it.Duncan MacLeod said:

Wow, virtually the same. I'm surprised. I still think she'd do better for herself appearing in Maxim. Playboy is kind of a dinosaur.
My guess is that back when Jo did the 20 questions for Playboy, if she'd wanted to do a nude layout they would have jumped. I'm not sure about now. They'd probably still do it, but she likely wouldn't get the cover.
if I were her husband, I'd much prefer a nude photo layout to a nude love scene. I would rather NOT see my get wife mauled by some Hollywood dude (aka; actor) while she was naked.
I'm not a prude or against this type of thing at all, but I suppose I'll never get why this would help the career of an actress ? Unfortunately, most Trek actors seem to fall into obscurity after the finale, so I suppose they will take any exposure they can.
Also, why does Jolene get all the kudos, Linda Park was just as hot during the series run !

You sort of answered your own question - it gets them exposure because it gets people talking. Yeah, it's frakked up, but that's the way some people are in Hollywood.
As for my part, I'm a guy, I think she's attractive, and I can't help but be curious if you know what I mean.
