WHY does SPIKE do this?

What in the world makes them think that certain episodes are trivial to the overall storyline, and that they just "don't have to run them"?

this is why i just bought ds9 on dvd. I tried to watch a few episodes on that channel last year and it was insufferable. Their main audience must be a bunch of idiots if they watch some of the stuff i see advertised on that channel.

I still suspect we may not have seen the end of the episode skipping, even tho' there's only a few weeks left in this run. SPIKE has shown its colors, and it is of an evil brood...
